Aircraft, Airline, Manufacturer & Third-Party References

AIM Watches is an independent watch company creating Swiss Made timepieces inspired by aviation history. Certain AIM timepieces may incorporate genuine material originating from retired, dismantled, salvaged, maintained or historically significant aircraft.

AIM Watches may reference aircraft manufacturers, airlines, former operators, aircraft owners, aircraft types, aircraft registrations, manufacturer serial numbers, flight histories, routes, dates, technical specifications and other aviation-related information.

These references are made solely for the purposes of identification, factual description, historical context and provenance of the aircraft and aircraft-derived materials associated with our products.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, AIM Watches and AIM BESPOKE WATCHES TRADING – FZCO are independent of and are not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, approved by, or otherwise officially connected with any aircraft manufacturer, airline, aircraft operator, aircraft owner, maintenance organisation or other third party referenced in connection with an AIM Watches product.

The reference to or use of an aircraft manufacturer, airline, operator, aircraft type, aircraft registration or other third-party name does not constitute or imply any commercial relationship, partnership, collaboration, sponsorship, endorsement, approval, authorisation or licensing arrangement between AIM Watches and that third party.

This applies to references appearing on or in connection with AIM Watches products, product descriptions, certificates of provenance, caseback engravings, packaging, websites, social media, advertising and other marketing or promotional material.

The creation or sale of a timepiece containing material originating from a particular aircraft does not mean that the aircraft manufacturer, airline, operator, previous owner or any other associated organisation participated in or approved the design, manufacture, marketing or sale of the AIM timepiece.

Except where expressly stated otherwise, such third parties have no responsibility for the design, manufacture, assembly, sale, warranty, servicing, performance or quality of an AIM Watches timepiece.

All third-party trademarks, trade names, logos, service marks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. AIM Watches does not claim ownership of any such third-party intellectual property.

Where AIM Watches has an official licence, authorisation, collaboration or partnership relating to a particular product, this will be expressly identified where appropriate.

Authentic Aviation Materials & Provenance

Where an AIM timepiece is described as containing material originating from a particular aircraft, aircraft registration, aircraft type or former operator, that description relates to the provenance of the material incorporated into that product.

Aircraft material may be obtained through independent suppliers, aircraft dismantlers, maintenance organisations, salvage companies, collectors and/or other legitimate sources.

Where AIM Watches identifies material as originating from a particular aircraft, aircraft registration, manufacturer, operator or aircraft type, that identification is based upon provenance information, documentation and records reasonably available to AIM Watches at the time the material is acquired.

Where appropriate, AIM Watches may retain supporting records or documentation relating to the provenance of aircraft-derived materials used within its products.

The incorporation of genuine aircraft material into an AIM Watches timepiece does not mean that the original aircraft manufacturer, airline, operator or owner supplied or manufactured the resulting AIM product.

The aircraft material has been independently acquired, repurposed and transformed for incorporation into a new AIM Watches product.

Aircraft-derived materials may naturally contain variations, markings, scratches, colour differences, surface characteristics or other evidence of their previous operational life. These characteristics form part of the material’s history and contribute to the individual nature of each timepiece.

Historical Information

AIM Watches may provide information concerning the history of individual aircraft, manufacturers, airlines, operators, flights, routes, destinations, technical specifications, notable events and other aspects of aviation history.

Such information is provided for historical, educational, descriptive and provenance purposes.

AIM Watches makes reasonable efforts to ensure that historical and provenance information presented with its products is accurate. However, some information may originate from suppliers, aircraft records, historical archives, databases and other third-party or publicly available sources.

Accordingly, AIM Watches cannot guarantee that every third-party historical record is complete or entirely free from error.

Where AIM Watches becomes aware of a material factual error, we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and, where appropriate, correct the information.

Certificates of Provenance

Certain AIM Watches products may be accompanied by a certificate or other documentation identifying the aircraft or aircraft type associated with material incorporated into the timepiece.

This information may include an aircraft registration, manufacturer serial number, aircraft type, former airline or operator, operational history or other historical information.

Such documentation is intended to record and preserve the provenance and history of the material incorporated into the relevant AIM Watches product.
